Language Arts - Spelling due Friday, Spelling Test Friday. Quiz on Poetic Elements on Monday next week (January 29)

Math - Page 72 (back of the page we worked on in class) due tomorrow. Problem of the Week due tomorrow. 3D pattern due next Tuesday (January 30). Bring materials from home, and we will have Tuesday's class to work on the pattern. Please make a plan at home, and start to work on your pattern at home if you will need more than one class to finish.

Frozen Thursday

Math - For Monday please complete the dividing questions in the booklet on the following pages. They need to show their work on a separate sheet if they run out of room.

I'm giving the students a different option to use for solving long division questions and while it's not traditional please bear with me as it will help them understand more of the process.

Welcome back to school. Hope you have enjoyed the break and are ready to start the new year.

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome Mrs. Fjordbotten to our school as a teacher intern. She will be working with our class in Math, and Language Arts for the next few months. I know she is excited to begin working with our students starting later this week. Welcome Mrs. Fjordbotten.

Language Arts - Students are to complete a rough draft of their New Year's resolutions for class tomorrow.

The students decided that a good New Year’s resolution has or should have these things:

• Actually change the way you behave
• Be something that you can achieve
• Make you feel better about yourself
• Be important useful and challenging
• Be communicated to others

Math: Please complete your math to#15 on page 141 for class tomorrow.

Arrow Book orders went home today and are due back by January 19th. Thanks!
