Homework for parents:

I 'm asking that parents do a bit of homework for next Monday. Most parents like to show how proud they are of their kids and this is your opportunity to boast about your kid.

What I'm asking of each of you is to please write me a letter, email, essay, short novel about your son or daughter. I'm hoping that you'll be able to give me some insight into their special interests and talents. It would be nice to have these before Wednesday's bar b que if possible. It would really help me communication wise if I have emails for each of you so if you want to email the assignment that would be great.

Oh Yeah !The students have a Social studies assignement on page 5 for Monday and their Health cover page is due on Tuesday.

See you all on Wednesday night.

Welcome back to school !!

  • I want you to get used to using this blog to find out what's going on and coming up for the students in class.
  • Communication is very important to having a successful year but in order for it to be effective it must be two way. Parents please feel free to email me or contact me at school or home. That includes students as well.
  • Your child have brought home an agenda today which has lots important information for you and your child. Take few minutes to go through it. It answers many questions gives a great overview of the coming year.
  • As well I've sent a couple of business cards with the agenda, a calss schedule for you to keep at home so you'll know what's happening each day. The one card has my contact information and the other sums up my class rules.
  • There are a number of important papers from the school that you should have a look at and review with your child.
  • In Health the students are to complete a cover page on "Being Safe" for class next Tuesday.
